Norton New Village Hall A Hall with a View - A View to the Future
Norton sub Hamdon village hall is available for hire for many occassions. It has its main hall capable of seating one hundred and forty persons and a modern kitchen suitable for catering for this amount of persons. It also has a small meeting room for those committee and small meetings you may have. In the main hall is a loop sound system connected to the main P.A. system that also has a CD player. There is a portable stage which can be erected in 15 minutes. At the side of the main hall is a verandah which looks out onto Ham Hill over the playing fields. There are also changing rooms which will be available from the July 2008 and there is plenty of car parking outside the hall. The charges for hire are as follow: For village residents Main Hall £5.00 per hour £50.00 evening function Kitchen £5.00 for tea and coffee £10.00 for any food prep £20.00 for substantial use Meeting room £4.00 per hour Changing Rooms To be announced
For non residents Main Hall £10.00 per hour £100.00 evening function Kitchen £10.00 for tea and coffee £30.00 for any food prep £60.00 for substantial use Meeting Room £8.00 Changing Rooms To be announced. A discount is available for regular users and block bookings. A cheque for £60.00 may be required in some circumstances. The cheque will be held against the cost of any damages or unexpected costs and returned to the hirer if not required.
