Norton sub Hamdon is a quiet hamstone village 8 miles west of Yeovil in South Somerset nestling in the shadow of historic Ham Hill. The village and the surrounding area is rich in history & archaeology, particularly that of the Celtic, Roman and Medieval periods. Through these pages the Society hopes to give a glimpse into this richness and to provide both the historian and the genealogist with information and an avenue for furthering their research.

The Pittard Alphabetical Index *NEW FOR 2009* The Pittard Alphabetical Index lists baptisms, marriages and burials at St Mary's Church from 1558 to the present allowing the researcher to locate the Register entry number and location of the Register.
